APRIL 6, 2026 -- HAPPY EASTER -- WEEK 13

Guys, the past three weeks, every dish has been cleaned by me, smh. I miss my mom πŸ˜ͺ and not only cause she would do the dishes but because she's so awesome. Only 468 days till I get to see her again. I know you are reading this mama and I loveee youuuuu and can't wait to see you again!! πŸ«°πŸ«°πŸ«°πŸ«°πŸ«°

Also shoutout to my bestest friends back home. Melanie, Mckenna, and Hemaile. Genuinely, I can't wait to see you guys again too!!! You are also my family #loveyouall #thanksforcalling #yourethebest  You already know the post mish is going to be lit.

Well, this week we got our first contact of the transfer!!! Yayayayayyayayaay!!! She is so cute and she's from Indonesia!!! Whatttt!?!?!?! We are trying to go have lunch with her next week. Plz pray for her and us. Her name is Eira!!!

We had Zone Conference and new missionaries get it translated. I said the opening prayer #dab it was so fun. Can you even guess what they spoke about?!?!?! It was marriage!!! Yay! my first three weeks and we are already onto marriage. Smh if I literally wasn't on a mission, oh I know I would be getting married. Hey like almost 15 months till I can get married. I'll say some of my favorite parts . . . 

1. You marry potential not perfection
    - you will grow together, yada yada yada
    - but you can't marry someone thinking you'll change them. You shouldn't have to be their mother. Boom

2. Never lose importance on getting married and having children!!!
    - every year you put off having children is one less year you get with them. Like that's so sad -- what. Also goes the same with husband/wife wtv.

3. When we have families and keep commandments (even if we feel like we don't have money, time, etc.) Heavenly Father will bless you to have enough. 
    - 1 Nephi 3:7 . . . for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
    - he will help us through raising families!!!

4. Make family your first priority!!!

Well then they gave us a HUGE lunch two plates, dessert and ice cream. It was tacossssss. It was so yummy. Sister Anderson had to finish some of my food. They gave us this potato salad like stuff and it was so delicious. One of the best things I've eaten here.

I GOT MY NEW NAME TAG!!!! IT'S SO CUTE!!! And I got one of the new fonts #itlookssocool.  I also got my business cards. Hit me up of you want one fr. πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

The Firths are the Mission doctors, whatever you call them and Sister Firth reminds me of my mama. So seeing her made me feel so happy and I was like you literally remind me so much of my mom.  Like I know she would love your outfit and just everything is basically the same. So that was a tender mercy!

I've officially been to my first World Heritage site!! Kōyasan yayayayay! It was so beautiful and so many temples and graves. The travel was so expensive though. Rip πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”

I don't have much to say but Happy Easter! Jesus died for you and for me. Idk who quoted this in their conference talk but I love this song!

1. Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling. Calling for you and for me. Patiently Jesus is waiting and watching. Watching for you and for me!

2. Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading.  Pleading for you and for me? Why should we linger and heed not His mercies, Mercies for you and for me?

3. Oh, for the wonderful love He has promised, Promised for you and for me! Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon, Pardon for you and for me!

Come home! Come home! Ye who are weary, come home! Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, Calling, O sinner, come home!

Literally, Jesus is waiting for you to reach out to him!!! He can't help you unless you humble yourself and turn to him!  He is waiting patiently for you no matter how long it takes (but the quicker the better, lol). You are so precious in the sight of God!

First 4 days in the MTC LOL and it's been so so fun!  My district is HIGHすき(ski) so awesome. My teachers are so chill and so spiritual. Last night in our 6-9 pm class we started out talking about Christ's names. Sasaki きょうだい (brother) said living water and he asked what that meant to us. Lowすきno one had good answers but then he explained it and everyone was like γͺに(whattttt)!!!! He started out with how we can't go three days without water so how can we go so long without Christ. Jesus is our water and with him -- we no longer thirst. Elder Smith asked a great question. He said, don't we need to keep "drinking" and sasaki said we will no longer want to thirst if we drink of Him one time. And that was insane. I had never thought of it that way. FEBRUARY 28, 2026 -- WEEK 6 FINALLY OVER!!

Week 6 hooray!!  Hello みγͺさん!!!  I've officially hit 6 weeks here, which is insane!! I feel so lucky to be a representative of Jesus Christ. Like, isn't that so awesome?  However I am sick of the food (everyone says they hate the beds, but I like them). Sunday, I sang at church!! I was lowkey very nervous, but it ended up being great lol. Our devotionals were good. Nothing new, but I do like the resource in the Gospel Library in the Book of Mormon where it shows all the references to topics. That is very helpful.  Tuesday night's devotion was very good. They talked about how it's okay to not know everything right now. That's why we are on earth right now to learn and grow!!!  Sister Harris has been saying it's not you + everything = Jesus. Its you + Jesus = everything. I need to be quicker at turning to Jesus. He literally is here to help us, so why am I so slow to ask for his help? He will make up the difference and magnify my effort 10x!!!  We got to host ...

JANUARY 24, 2026 -- GET ON YOUR KNEES

(Guys please I'm not very tech savvy and these phones suck so yes I am replying to this because its too hard to figure this out right now and I'm very late sending this.) You may be wondering why that's the title of this week's email, but there is an explanation LOL. During Monday's night class we started with a "game" and it was explaining to ささききょうだい how to drink water. He would only do the directions that were given. No one was able to get him to drink the water. During Elder Thompson's second turn ささき knocked over the water bottle and Thompson said get on your knees and everyone just died laughing. This does not do it justice, I swear. This week has been crazy though. We started full Japanese immersion. We had initiation with all the Japanese Districts and at the end, we counted down from 10 and now we can't speak English in class or even when we are in the T4 building.  Okay, this week was so weird  -- but awesome.
