JANUARY 17, 2026 -- みなああああさんんんん!! こんいちは! MINAA SANN KONNIAHIHA!!!
First 4 days in the MTC LOL and it's been so so fun!
My district is HIGHすき(ski) so awesome. My teachers are so chill and so spiritual. Last night in our 6-9 pm class we started out talking about Christ's names. Sasaki きょうだい (brother) said living water and he asked what that meant to us. Lowすきno one had good answers but then he explained it and everyone was like なに(whattttt)!!!! He started out with how we can't go three days without water so how can we go so long without Christ. Jesus is our water and with him -- we no longer thirst. Elder Smith asked a great question. He said, don't we need to keep "drinking" and sasaki said we will no longer want to thirst if we drink of Him one time. And that was insane. I had never thought of it that way. I don't know if that even makes sense but it does to me.
Well in class we もぎ(roleplay) A LOT. And it's super scary at first and I have no idea what to say. But the more you do it the easier it gets. I swear we roleplay like ten times each hour. But as we've been doing our mogis the Spirit has been helping me know what to say. Sister Glassey しまい wrote this about what I had said and I quote, "sometimes we focus on the word turmoil trying to fix someone's problems but with Helaman 5, the verses focusing on peace, because of His Beloved Son you showed me what I was looking for, the feeling of peace instead of the solution. And it was in such a round about way you helped me to recognize that feeling! We don't take away their turmoil but you help them to recognize the feelings they are looking for!" My teachers say be more confident トレイシしまい!!! I'm working on it.
The food is not good here. LOL. Me and Sister Glassey eat the same salad every lunch and dinner. Oh my gosh, yesterday we were running late to class because my mother sent me awesome cookies and Glassey and I started jogging to catch up to the the boys. Elder Thompson started racing us and he LEFT his comp😱😱😱!!! We weren't late to class and we beat everyone else. LOL. I love my district and I love talking to other people here and learning how to say hi in their languages. Glassey and I are going to get fit. We go workout every morning at 6:30 am, and boy oh boy is it soo much fun. We got to go to the Mount Timpanogos Temple this morning and it was so awesome.
We met an awesome sister who is coming here next week! I told her all the ins and outs of the MTC and I can only pray for her. LOL. Yeah, I don't really know what else to write, I've only been here a few days, but only SEVEN more weeks left to go. がんばりましょううう!!!
With that being said, トレイシしまい OUT!!
(Love you all, and I'm learning so much and trying my very best!)
Sister Tracy 😛
