JANUARY 24, 2026 -- GET ON YOUR KNEES

(Guys please I'm not very tech savvy and these phones suck so yes I am replying to this because its too hard to figure this out right now and I'm very late sending this.)

You may be wondering why that's the title of this week's email, but there is an explanation LOL. During Monday's night class we started with a "game" and it was explaining to ささききょうだい how to drink water. He would only do the directions that were given. No one was able to get him to drink the water. During Elder Thompson's second turn ささき knocked over the water bottle and Thompson said get on your knees and everyone just died laughing. This does not do it justice, I swear. This week has been crazy though. We started full Japanese immersion. We had initiation with all the Japanese Districts and at the end, we counted down from 10 and now we can't speak English in class or even when we are in the T4 building.

Okay, this week was so weird  -- but awesome. One interesting question me and Sister Glassey were asked this week from some elders was how do you respectfully catcall someone? Honestly, I told him just say your testimony is very powerful. He said no like say it from across the way. After that we lowkey just walked away. Next upper body blast. Our elders do not work out and one day Elder Smith is like wow my arms hurt. I was like you've been working out? Whatttt? He said yeah we've been doing that upper body blast and that was so funny.

HOAs. Boy, oh boy, our "H"elping "O"thers "A"ppointments WERE SO GOOD!! Teaching through the spirit is so real guys. This week we taught Chalee for the 3rd time and she is such a sweetheart. We love getting to know her and share the gospel (even though she already knows it) And we taught RICKY T. We were very nervous because we were teaching the restoration. Very very scary lesson to teach for a first lesson butttt he gave us such good scores!!!! Yay!!! すばらしですね!!! Next week we start teaching in Japanese ええええ???? That will be such a learning curve but we need to feel uncomfortable to learn and grow!!

I learned head shoulders knees and toes in Japanese mwahahaha. But for real, we learn so many new words and we took our first test over what we knew. That was so scary. But one thing I loved that we did in class was we went around and told other people what we thought their spiritual gift was. It was so nice to know what people think of me which sounds so vain. But it just reaffirms why I am here and why people need me. My favorite thing I've learned during one of our most recent classes was はじめとおわり which means beginning and end. Because イエス・キリストははじめとおわりです. Jesus Christ is the end and beginning. He is the reason I am here and He is my end goal. I'm so very thankful to be a part of His work. Only six more weeks in the MTC guys!!

Pray for me guys -- mwahahaah. (I'm still learning and trying my best)
