FEBRUARY 28, 2026 -- WEEK 6 FINALLY OVER!!

Week 6 hooray!!

Hello みなさん!!!

I've officially hit 6 weeks here, which is insane!! I feel so lucky to be a representative of Jesus Christ. Like, isn't that so awesome?

However I am sick of the food (everyone says they hate the beds, but I like them). Sunday, I sang at church!! I was lowkey very nervous, but it ended up being great lol. Our devotionals were good. Nothing new, but I do like the resource in the Gospel Library in the Book of Mormon where it shows all the references to topics. That is very helpful.

Tuesday night's devotion was very good. They talked about how it's okay to not know everything right now. That's why we are on earth right now to learn and grow!!!

Sister Harris has been saying it's not you + everything = Jesus. Its you + Jesus = everything. I need to be quicker at turning to Jesus. He literally is here to help us, so why am I so slow to ask for his help? He will make up the difference and magnify my effort 10x!!!

We got to host new missionaries again!!! This time I only brought in two sisters, but it was still so fun. And we got a new Japanese district in our branch!! Rip them cause they are about to be the new STL's LOL. We also have being doing so many もぎs its literally insane. We practiced one where we knocked in the door, and they let us in.  We kneeled down and did the whole mogi like that. My legs were lowkey dying, but its okay!!! We also mogied outside like we were at the park. Then Elder Thompson said, "wow do you only mogi terrible with everyone or just me." And that made me sad because I'm trying my best.

This week has been ちょっと むずかしい。but one thing an awesome awesome sister was telling me is that your day wasn't a bad day it was just a hard day. Your day is what you make it; if you choose to let it get to you, then it will be a bad day. ことば.

My goal before I leave the MTC is to read the Book of Mormon all the way through again before I leave. And I didn't make the goal till like 2 weeks ago but I'm in Alma 32, so I'm getting through. But as I've been reading I can see the Lord's hand in my life. He truly is aware of us and he loves us so much.

Friday was such an awesome day. We spent all of class using no notes. I felt kind of smart for once. One game we play is translator. Sasaki will say a sentence, and we have to translate it into Japanese, but in that moment, he doesn't repeat himself.

Today I got all the sentences right and I felt very proud because usually I'm very terrible. Then we mogied faith. It was good I actually didn't go blank talking this time. And to end class, sasaki said he had a surprise, and it was moging in English yay!! They gave us no prompt, we had to ask questions to find out what they needed to hear, and that went well. We didn't have much time, but when in doubt, testify of Jesus Christ!
Here's what we did in class today

I love the Book of Mormon and the Gospel. I'm so lucky to be able to go out and share it. Japanese is hard but I'm trying my best and learning everyday. トレイシ姉妹!!
