FEBRUARY 7, 2025 -- What to say....

Guys it was such a good week!! I don't really remember too much that happened. LOL!!


Monday, I got to leave the MTC #freesister. But it was just for a doctor's appointment. I got to see my sister, Amy and she brought me McDonald's. It was so good. So much better then the food I've been eating. Japanese is getting so much better. Our appointment with takako San though, this week was not very good. But teaching in Japanese is hard. After this every thing gets iffy. Everyday is like the same. So it all kinda blurs into one. We didn't have to host new missionaries this week but we have to host old ones on Monday but that's actually fun. We have been learning so many new things in Japanese like ことができる and we learned how to make compound sentences. I passed off the second line of the First Vision in Japanese and the third is so long. We got to go to the Temple today and it was so awesome. We had to ride the UVX and it was my first time. But awesome, Sister Houston is a pro and it wasn't too bad. Ahhh! One of these days we went to the computer lab and played fire and ice and that was so fun. ALSO OH MY GOSH!  One night it was ten minutes past lights out and we were laughing so hard. I can't say why, but we had security knocking on our door telling us to go to bed.

I don't really have anything else to say, lol. But one spiritual thought is to read your scriptures everyday. I'll be so real -- some days are hard here, but when I read the BOM, I just feel so much peace. I know the Book of Mormon is true and if you read it, you will get closer to Heavenly Father. 

Thank you everyone who reads and responds to my emails!! I love you all, and I'm working hard and trying my best!! Only four more weeks!!! Yayayayay!!

First 4 days in the MTC LOL and it's been so so fun!  My district is HIGHすき(ski) so awesome. My teachers are so chill and so spiritual. Last night in our 6-9 pm class we started out talking about Christ's names. Sasaki きょうだい (brother) said living water and he asked what that meant to us. Lowすきno one had good answers but then he explained it and everyone was like なに(whattttt)!!!! He started out with how we can't go three days without water so how can we go so long without Christ. Jesus is our water and with him -- we no longer thirst. Elder Smith asked a great question. He said, don't we need to keep "drinking" and sasaki said we will no longer want to thirst if we drink of Him one time. And that was insane. I had never thought of it that way. FEBRUARY 28, 2026 -- WEEK 6 FINALLY OVER!!

Week 6 hooray!!  Hello みなさん!!!  I've officially hit 6 weeks here, which is insane!! I feel so lucky to be a representative of Jesus Christ. Like, isn't that so awesome?  However I am sick of the food (everyone says they hate the beds, but I like them). Sunday, I sang at church!! I was lowkey very nervous, but it ended up being great lol. Our devotionals were good. Nothing new, but I do like the resource in the Gospel Library in the Book of Mormon where it shows all the references to topics. That is very helpful.  Tuesday night's devotion was very good. They talked about how it's okay to not know everything right now. That's why we are on earth right now to learn and grow!!!  Sister Harris has been saying it's not you + everything = Jesus. Its you + Jesus = everything. I need to be quicker at turning to Jesus. He literally is here to help us, so why am I so slow to ask for his help? He will make up the difference and magnify my effort 10x!!!  We got to host ...

JANUARY 24, 2026 -- GET ON YOUR KNEES

(Guys please I'm not very tech savvy and these phones suck so yes I am replying to this because its too hard to figure this out right now and I'm very late sending this.) You may be wondering why that's the title of this week's email, but there is an explanation LOL. During Monday's night class we started with a "game" and it was explaining to ささききょうだい how to drink water. He would only do the directions that were given. No one was able to get him to drink the water. During Elder Thompson's second turn ささき knocked over the water bottle and Thompson said get on your knees and everyone just died laughing. This does not do it justice, I swear. This week has been crazy though. We started full Japanese immersion. We had initiation with all the Japanese Districts and at the end, we counted down from 10 and now we can't speak English in class or even when we are in the T4 building.  Okay, this week was so weird  -- but awesome.
